We currently have an opportunity available for Licenced Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for performing the duties and responsibili-ties which include, but are not limited to, the following:

Join our team as an AME and lead the way in workplace safety. Return aircraft to service with precision, following Sunwest's policies and CARs. Oversee avionics projects, maintaining control throughout. Keep aircraft electronic systems in peak condition, from communication to navigation and autopilot equipment. Conduct thorough inspections and tests, diagnosing and resolving electrical malfunctions with confidence. Collaborate with technical experts to gather engineering and repair data. Document maintenance diligently and adapt configurations as needed. Operate ground service equipment and handle parts purchase and receiving. Support rescue missions and mentor new engineers while completing Service Difficulty Reports. Maintain tool control and stay up-to-date with training.
