Job Title – Apprentice Avionics AME/Ramp – Ref:2013-111-118 AVC

 

  • Thorough familiarity with safety requirements and practice safe work habits
  • Assist in maintaining aircraft electronic systems and equipment, including communications and navigation equipment
  • Assist in inspecting and testing aircraft electrical and avionics related systems
  • Assist in the diagnosis of electrical malfunctions or other related problems in the aircraft as per technical manuals, drawings or blueprints
  • Assist in the assembly and/or installation of replacement electronic components as per technical manuals, drawings or blueprints
  • Report  problems to Engineers so action can be taken to rectify them, assist in maintaining accurate record of the maintenance history of the aircraft

        Assist the ramp personnel in the following as required:

  • Maintain a safe and efficient ramp at all times (Very Important)
  • Coordinate and execute all aircraft movements with Maintenance and Flight Operations
  • Fuel all Sunwest and authorized customer aircraft
  • Perform completion of fuel orders and truck reconciliation at the end of each shift
  • Deice all Sunwest and authorized customer aircraft
  • Report all ground support equipment maintenance concerns to the Ground Vehicle Maintenance Technician
  • Ensure operational information is relayed to the next team at the end of each shift and paper work is completed
  • Other related duties as assigned
