Current role with the Company: As the Manager of Human Resources, Kim is responsible for providing Human Resources support and guidance to all executives, managers, and employees in the areas of Recruitment, Selection & On-boarding, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation, Payroll & Benefits, Training and Development, and Policy & Procedures.
Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree, Majoring in Business Administration, with Minors in Psychology and Sociology, as well as a Certificate in Business Administration with a Human Resources concentration, both from Brandon University. Kim attained her Registered Professional Recruiters designation in 2004 and attained her Certified Human Resources Professional designation in 2005. Kim began her Human Resources career in 1995 working in Human Resources at Brandon University until 2002 when her family relocated to Calgary for her husband's career. From 2003 to 2006 she worked as a Human Resources Advisor at Tesco Corporation, an oilfield services company, with generalist responsibilities for the Canadian operations. In 2006 she joined Sunwest in the new role of Manager of Human Resources and established the Human Resources department from the ground up and integrated all HR components throughout the company.
Kim's personal interests include golfing, camping, hiking, travelling, hockey, and a recent interest in skiing, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
